Side Projects

Smaller projects I've worked on, mainly to help me automate things in the business I didn't want to repeatedly do. If you'd like help automating something for your small business, let me know, I may be able to help.

  • Personal Workout Tracker – A minimalist workout tracker I built to log only what I need, with no fluff or bloat.
  • Personal Website - This site! Built with HTML, Tailwind CSS, and deployed on GitHub Pages.
  • Web Scraper - A Python-based web scraper for collecting and analyzing data.
  • Simple POS App - A straightforward point-of-sale application built with modern web technologies.
  • Hostel Daily Board - A replacement for the handwritten daily board in the lobby. Automated to pull in updated weather and daily events.
  • Hostel Website - A complete rebuild of The Lazy Tiger Hostel website from scratch, focusing on modern design and user experience.
  • The Take Vault - An app designed to hold your dumb best friends accountable for their worst takes.
  • Hostel Dashboard - An internal dashboard that quickly shows me the current state of the business operationally and financially.
  • Booking Automation - Automatically add new bookings to our email marketing lists and internal database.
  • Daily and Weekly Reports - Daily reports to help staff understand who's checking in and checking out, and weekly reports about occupancy with pricing suggestions.

Community Involvement

Local and industry groups I'm involved with across Asheville's business, remote work, hospitality, and tourism communities.
